The Plastic Card company became a participant of Global Money Week 2018. In Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine traditionally supports the global initiative called Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI).

This year, Global Money Week was held under the motto "Money matters." The country's main banking regulator together with its partners - the USAID Financial Transformation Project, the Ministry of Education and Science, the State Banking University and the Deposit Guarantee Fund - developed a rich program for the financial education of young people and within a week, from 12th to 18th of March actively accepted visitors.

Among the key topics of discussions at Global Money Week are the advantages of non-cash settlements.

"To date, cashless is one of the main trends of the modern financial market," says the commercial director of Plastic Card Ltd Olena Lyutovych. "Non-cash settlements allow saving time on carrying out diverse operations. In addition, the use of contactless chip cards as a non-cash payments trend significantly increases the level of financial security of the cardholder. It is also important to note that in the global economy, non-cash transactions imply huge cost savings, primarily for banks. Therefore, for us as a plastic card manufacturer, it is important to keep pace with the time by producing a product that is in demand by the market."

As part of the event, Plastic Card's staff told schoolchildren and students about the features of plastic cards production, introduced the company's products. Also, Plastic Card Ltd together with the national payment system PROSTIR presented a promo card with a unique design, developed specifically for Global Money Week 2018.
